Activities in the area include
fishing on the rivers Wye and Monnow. Golfing, there are
many superb courses in the area, including The Rolls of
Monmouth and of course just down the road at Newport,
The Celtic Manor Resort the venue for the Ryder Cup in
2010. Horse riding,
and canoeing are readily available and for those who are
perhaps less active there are many lovely walks to enjoy
the scenery or just sit back and relax in a chair on the
